We understand that cost certainty is desirable for many of our clients. Concurrent or Per User, Per Slot streaming programs provide another level of price certainty. Overage as a price concern is eliminated on the per user program. However it is also important to understand that growth is then restricted to the total number of users or slots of streaming selected.
NetroMedia's fixed-rate streaming service is for customers who want to deliver live streaming audio or video while establishing the maximum number of simultaneous listeners.
Maximum number of simultaneous listeners
Concurrent pricing is based on the maximum player connections that can be made at any one time to a particular stream. When the maximum number is connected to the service, any media player that attempts to connect to your stream will be denied service.
Maximum bitrate
NetroMedia will limit the bitrate of the audio feed to the Kbps package that is chosen by the client. Programs are available in 20 and 32 Kbps audio feeds.
Monthly rate
This is the fixed pre-paid monthly price for the chosen package.
There is a minimum 2 month prepayment required on concurrent programs smaller than $85.00 per month.
